Easter Egg Hunt 2014

With that disclaimer out of the way, on to the best shots from our family's Easter celebration!

The Easter Bunny brought candy for the first time, but also TWO tball sets.

(A personal thank you from me Bunny, buying two will save me a lot of refereeing! You did well with that buy-one-get-one sale at Amazon!)

Gavin was THRILLED. He's been wearing that coach whistle three weeks straight. Including in the bath and lying it next to his pillow at night.

Ethan was OFF!!

"What is this on the grass? It's not an egg?"

 

Random old toy discarded, the hunt continued!

Yes, he's midair here.

While Ethan flew through the yard, Gavin clutched his new bat close, needing reminders to look for eggs.

(Psst... Little does Ethan know there is ONE M&M in each egg, I barely went through half a small bag stuffing them)

They finally noticed the Easter baskets.

Silly spray was a particularly big hit.

"So wait... You're saying Ethan snagged most of the candy while I played baseball with my new bat?"

"What I really hear you saying is..."

"I got my own bat!"

"No more sidelines for me suckas!"

Oh and further evidence of Easter miracles, I cooked a healthy dish successfully that we all enjoyed... and no smoke alarms went off!
