Happy Patrick's Day 2015

Happy St. Patrick's Day! 

 

We have to celebrate big with our own personal red-headed and brunette leprechauns!

 

 

 

Chris made corned beef and cabbage for dinner.

 

He couldn't stop there.  For dessert the boys made mint chocolate chip milk shakes.

 

This was particularly special to me as they were served in my Irish Nanny and Pop Pop's glasses from the soda fountain business they used to run in the 1950's.  I'll never forget my Nanny giving me these when I took Chris to her home to introduce them.  These and a bottle of Pop Pop's Sorono liquor were her last gifts to me. 

 

I love sharing that history with our sons.
